ENHYPEN's Jay is releasing his first signature guitar, turning his longtime passion for guitar into a collaboration with one of the world's largest guitar brands. The Epiphone Jay "Raoul" SG Tribute Plus, a collaboration between the singer and Epiphone, goes on sale in South Korea on Friday KST and will arrive in Japan in July, according to the brand on Thursday.

The project started with Jay himself. Known among fans for his love of rock music and guitar playing, he pitched the idea of a signature model as a way to share that side of his life with listeners. Epiphone, the long-running sister brand of Gibson, signed on.

The guitar is built around the classic Gibson SG body shape, finished in a Rubine Red color that Jay picked out. His signature and a logo marking the collaboration are placed across the instrument. According to Epiphone, the model is aimed at players who want to shape their own sound and style.

"When I first started playing guitar, ENGENE supported me a lot," Jay said in a statement through his agency BELIFT LAB, referring to ENHYPEN's official fandom. "That support pushed me to keep practicing, and thanks to that, I'm honored to be part of a project like this. Through this guitar, I want to share with everyone how important dreams and hard work are, and that feeling of real excitement."

Guitar has slowly become part of Jay's public identity. He played guitar on "Helium," his first self-composed song released last year. His cover of Bon Jovi's "Always," which featured his guitar solo, also drew attention online. Even his official character, Noxta, is designed around the idea of passing energy to others through guitar playing. Inside his practice room, a row of guitars sits ready to be picked up.

ENHYPEN, meanwhile, opened its fourth world tour, "BLOOD SAGA," last month at KSPO DOME in Seoul's Songpa district. The group heads to South America and North America in July and August, Macau in October, and a four-dome run in Japan from December through February of next year. The full tour runs through March of next year and covers 33 shows in 21 cities across Asia, Europe and beyond.
