500Jonathan, Jeon SomiMnet Plus is opening a new content channel built entirely around K-pop idols' beauty routines and daily lives. The platform announced that "Yeonji Gonji: YZKZ" will launch July 6, anchored by five different programs and a roster of idol guests.
The channel is pitched as a K-beauty and lifestyle project that gives fans a closer look at how idols actually get ready, on stage and off. Rather than one flagship show, YZKZ will run as a slate: a talk show, an idol variety series, a behind-the-scenes makeup feature, a tutorial format, and a fan-driven photo shoot project.
The lineup includes "TWIN MIRROR SHOW," "Check-in! Idol Bingo," "COMEBACK LOOK," "10min Routine," and "FANS' CHOICE FACE."
"TWIN MIRROR SHOW" is the talk-show centerpiece. The host and a guest sit across from each other like mirror images and do their own makeup at the same time, talking through their beauty preferences and daily habits as they go. The appeal is watching how closely the two looks line up by the end. Singer Jeon Somi has signed on as host.
"Check-in! Idol Bingo" turns a suitcase of personal favorites into a game. Idol guests play bingo with their most-loved items on the line, taking on missions to complete their boards while trying to hold onto the products they actually use day to day. Broadcaster Jonathan hosts.
"COMEBACK LOOK" is billed as the first uncut look at an idol's comeback makeup. The format follows the full process backstage, from the first step of prep through the finished look, with behind-the-scenes notes from the comeback itself.
"10min Routine" is a tutorial series built around self-care routines idols actually follow, condensed into something a viewer can copy in 10 minutes. The focus is on practical tips anyone can try at home.
'Yeonji Gonji: YZKZ'"FANS' CHOICE FACE" hands the creative direction to fans. Viewers help pick the concept for a photo shoot of their favorite artist and weigh in on the shoot's cue sheet, with the goal of producing a photo set that would not exist through traditional planning.
"Idols' beauty routines and lifestyles are something fans consistently care about, so we designed this to feel closer and more familiar," the YZKZ production team said. "We hope it becomes a channel and a program that feels like a playground, where fans can enjoy it and talk back."
The first episode of "TWIN MIRROR SHOW" arrives July 6 at 5 p.m. KST on Mnet Plus. The other programs will roll out one by one after that. Mnet will also air a weekly cut of the channel's content on television every Thursday at 7:50 p.m. KST.
The launch reflects how K-pop content is steadily moving past music videos and stage cuts into the everyday spaces fans want to see: the vanity, the suitcase, the dressing room. With YZKZ, Mnet Plus is betting that beauty and lifestyle are no longer side content for K-pop fandom. They are the main attraction.
