Actor Kwon Yul has wrapped his special appearance in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama "Fifties Professionals." He played Chairman Do, a businessman who runs the fictional Heaven Hotel and its casino, and shared a farewell message as the series came to a close.

Chairman Do is a character built to draw attention. He runs a hotel-and-casino empire, reads a room fast, and works the flow of power to his advantage. Kwon gave him a signature mix of English-laced speech, oversized gestures, and bold styling that set him apart from the rest of the cast.

The performance moved between easy elegance, sly humor, and sharp calculation. Rather than playing a standard drama villain, Kwon leaned into a showier register that added a different kind of tension to the story.

"Chairman Do Hyun-tae was a character that felt unique and appealing from the first time I read the script," Kwon said. "I thought a lot about how to show the nature and emotions hidden behind his flashy exterior in a layered way. I'm grateful that viewers watched Chairman Do with so much interest and seemed to really enjoy him."

He also thanked the team behind the show. "Thanks to a great director, my fellow actors, and every staff member who worked alongside us on set, I was able to spend a fun and meaningful time," he said. "I sincerely thank everyone who joined me on this project, and the viewers, once again."
