'War on Malicious Commenters Begins' Jang Won-young, Unwavering Daily Life
The images show Jang spending relaxed downtime overseas. In one set of photos, she wears a matching tracksuit, drawing attention with her trim figure.
The post follows a stretch of online debate over Jang's behavior at the airport. On the 30th, as she was leaving for China, footage of her going through immigration sparked discussion among Korean internet users. In the clips, Jang appeared to cross her arms in front of a staff member trying to verify her face, and was seen taking her passport back in a way some viewers described as abrupt.
Her agency, Starship Entertainment, has since said it is taking action against online attacks targeting her. "We are pursuing strong legal measures, including civil and criminal action, against confirmed unlawful acts targeting Jang Won-young as an individual, such as insult, defamation, spreading false information, sexual harassment and sexual insult, and invasion of privacy," the company said.
IVE, meanwhile, returned earlier this year with its second full-length album. The group released "REVIVE+" in February.
