'Single's Inferno' Choi Mina-soo to Throw First Pitch at Doosan Bears Game

Model and TV personality Choi Mina-soo is heading to the mound. She will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Doosan Bears game in Seoul on June 27.

The Korea Baseball Organization matchup brings the Doosan Bears against the KIA Tigers at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul. Choi will deliver the ceremonial first pitch in support of a Bears win.

Choi first drew wider attention through Netflix's "Single's Inferno 5," the fifth season of the streamer's hit Korean dating series, where her on-screen presence became one of the season's talking points. She followed that with tvN's "Kill It: Style Creator War," a styling competition program, showing off a sharp fashion sense and a willingness to throw herself into each mission.

"I'm happy to be throwing the first pitch for the Doosan Bears," Choi said. "I'll practice hard and do my best to show a good side of myself as a first-pitch thrower too."

Her profile has been climbing on the awards circuit as well. At the 2026 Global OTT Awards, Choi took home the Rising Star prize, given to an artist who carved out a fresh lane over the past year with a distinct identity of their own.
