Yang Yo-seob Tries Dog-Walking Side Hustle in New YouTube Series

HIGHLIGHT member Yang Yo-seob traded the stage for a leash in his latest web variety outing. The singer took on a dog-walking side hustle for the eighth episode of "Yoseobi's These Days," released through the YouTube channel GOGOSING.

The episode follows Yang as he tries out one of South Korea's fastest-growing gig jobs. Dog-walking work has gained attention as pet ownership continues to expand across the country. Yang, who has a dog named Yang-gaeng at home, said he was eager to take part. He also admitted he had never walked multiple dogs at the same time and looked visibly nervous before starting.

Once the walk began, three dogs pulled in three different directions. Yang scrambled to manage the leashes and eventually admitted, "Three dogs is tough." He joked that the trio looked like a "Seongsu Cerberus," drawing laughs from the crew. Along with the walk, he took on other tasks like giving the dogs water, handing out treats and running through small training routines.

One of the episode's lighter moments came when Yang sized up each dog's personality through MBTI types. He compared the temperaments of Yang-gaeng, which shares a name with his own dog, along with Oya and Dambami, showing a careful eye for their habits. Yang tried hard to win over Yang-gaeng but seemed caught off guard when the dog stayed distant. He nodded in understanding after learning that Yang-gaeng tends to bond only with its owner.

Talking with the dog owners, Yang swapped stories about shedding, the importance of daily walks and the everyday joy of living with a pet. As a dog owner himself, he added his own experiences to the conversation.

After wrapping up the shift, Yang said, "I'm going to sleep well tonight," admitting the work was harder than expected. He also showed his soft side for the animals, asking, "How can a creature this full of love even exist?"
