Hwang Min-hyun Brings Japan Travel Photobook 'ON 道' to a Seoul Exhibition

Singer and actor Hwang Min-hyun is opening a photo exhibition built around his own travel images. The show pairs his published photobook with previously unseen shots from a trip to Japan.

According to Pledis Entertainment on May 26, the "2026 Hwang Min-hyun PHOTOBOOK ON 道 Photo Exhibition" will run from May 29 through June 6 at 58GROUND in Seoul's Seongdong district.

"ON 道" is a travel record set in Tokyo and Kamakura, Japan. The exhibition follows Hwang as he moves through quiet streets, the sea, back alleys, and cafes, finding new feelings in familiar cities. The atmosphere of those moments fills the exhibition space.

A preview video released at midnight on May 26 shows Hwang taking photos at different stops on the trip. "I hope the moments I captured can be a small pause in the day for Hwangdo," he says in the voiceover, referring to his fandom name. The clip sets up what fans can expect from both the photobook and the exhibition.

The "ON 道" exhibition includes images from the photobook, travel scenes Hwang shot himself, and unreleased cuts available only at the show. Pictures of Hwang as the subject sit alongside photos he took behind the camera.

A mobile audio guide recorded by Hwang himself is also part of the experience. In it, he talks about how he felt during the trip. Ambient sound from the locations, including train noise and waves, plays underneath his voice.

The "ON 道" photo exhibition is free to attend.
