Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang turned to South Korean fried chicken chain BBQ for the second day in a row during his current visit to Seoul. The move underscored how the global chip executive has woven local food into a packed schedule of meetings with the country's top business leaders.

According to the food industry on Nov. 7, Huang ate Genesis BBQ's "Crunch Boneless Cracker" chicken from group seating at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul that afternoon, after throwing the ceremonial first pitch at a Korea Baseball Organization game.

Nvidia placed an order for 113 servings of the Crunch Boneless Cracker for delivery to the BBQ branch at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. To handle the order, BBQ sent staff from its headquarters to the site to help cook and prepare the chicken.

Huang had already chosen BBQ once before during this trip. On Nov. 5, the first day of his visit, he wrapped a dinner of Korean pork belly paired with soju and beer alongside SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin. For the second round of the night, he headed to the BBQ branch near Hongik University Station.

The repeat visits placed one of South Korea's biggest fried chicken brands in the middle of a high-profile week of tech diplomacy, as Huang met with the leaders shaping Korea's role in the global AI supply chain.
