BLACKPINK's Lisa kept her private life off the table in a new Vanity Fair cover story, drawing fresh attention to long-running breakup rumors.

The interview, published on the magazine's summer issue cover and released online on June 23 local time, came with one clear ground rule from Lisa's team.

According to Vanity Fair, Lisa's representatives asked the magazine to avoid questions about her personal life and relationships before the interview began. Lisa herself did not bring up the topic directly. The magazine reported that she is believed to have split from Frédéric Arnault, an executive at the luxury group LVMH, whom she had been romantically linked to since 2023.

The two were first spotted together in Paris, and reports later placed Arnault on family trips with Lisa, eventually fueling speculation about marriage. More recently, fans noticed that Arnault did not appear at events tied to Lisa's birthday, which sparked talk of a breakup. Neither side has issued an official statement.

In the interview, Lisa described specific incidents involving overzealous fans, including people waiting outside her home and one who tried to get into a taxi with her. She also said that after she spoke publicly about the strain of having her privacy ignored, fans began respecting her personal space, and she thanked them for it.

Lisa acknowledged the pressure that comes with life as a K-POP star and admitted that she sometimes wishes for an ordinary day-to-day routine. Vanity Fair noted that she is working to balance her life as an artist with her life as Lalisa Manobal, her given name, and that her health, family, and privacy are her top priorities right now.

Lisa has been expanding her career beyond music. She broadened her work into acting through the HBO drama "The White Lotus," and on June 12 she performed at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Los Angeles.
