NOWZ Sets August Comeback With New Album After Japan EP Debut
K-POP boy group NOWZ is set to return in August with a new album, roughly five months after its last release.
The group is currently preparing the new release, which will mark its first comeback since its debut Japanese EP "NOWZ" arrived in March.
NOWZ is made up of five members: Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyoon. The group previously performed under the name NOWADAYS before rebranding to its current name.
The group's first mini album, "IGNITION," released in July last year, sold more than 150,000 copies in its first week, a personal best for the act. Its pre-release track "Jayoupge Nara," produced and featuring labelmate Yuqi of i-dle, also reached No. 1 on the daily new song chart of Chinese platform QQ Music.
Ahead of the comeback, NOWZ released a teaser for its in-house series "Do it NOW" on its official YouTube channel on the 23rd. The clip stitches together a range of episodes, from the members writing their own logo song to past-life roleplay, jjimjilbang games at a Korean bathhouse, a dance battle in the practice room, and a group trip.
The full premiere of "Do it NOW" lands on the 26th at 7 p.m. KST on the group's official YouTube channel. The show expands the self-produced content NOWZ has put out since its second year into a full reality-variety format, built and filmed in-house.
