BTS to Transform London Into a Citywide Fan Experience With 'THE CITY ARIRANG'
BTS will transform central London into a citywide fan experience as part of its "BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – LONDON" project, expanding festivities beyond the group's upcoming concerts.
According to details released on Weverse on Monday, the event will feature installations and interactive programs across several of London's best-known landmarks. The project continues BTS' "THE CITY" series, which has previously been held alongside major events in cities including Seoul, Busan and Las Vegas.
One of the campaign's highlights will see the London Eye illuminated in the signature red color associated with the group's latest album, "ARIRANG." A floating installation carrying the album's logo will also travel along the River Thames, bringing the project to one of the city's most recognizable locations.
From July 8 to 10, London's Outernet entertainment district will host immersive digital displays themed around BTS and "ARIRANG." Fans will also be able to participate in an eight-location stamp rally connecting major event sites throughout the city.
Additional programs include a Korean tourism pop-up featuring cultural experiences and dance activities, as well as Samsung Galaxy interactive booths offering AI-powered experiences and exclusive merchandise.
The Korean Cultural Centre UK will also display stage outfits worn by BTS during the group's 2019 Wembley Stadium concerts as part of the "Iconic Looks" exhibition.
The London edition of "THE CITY" will take place alongside BTS' upcoming performances in the British capital, extending the concert experience across the city for fans and visitors alike.
