"The King's Warden" Star Ahn Jae-hong Cast in "A Day Without a Hand"

Actor Ahn Jae-hong is moving into supernatural thriller territory. His agency, Management mmm, confirmed on June 29 that the actor has been cast in the upcoming film "A Day Without a Hand,"

The film follows Woo-jin, a man preparing to move into a new home, who begins noticing unsettling signs in his wife Hee-yeon. The story unfolds over a single day after the couple meets Tae-ju, a shaman who insists Hee-yeon must accept a calling from the spirit world.

Ahn plays Woo-jin, a lawyer who trusts only what he can see. Even when faced with strange events he cannot explain, he holds on to reason and logic. As the story moves forward, Woo-jin chases the truth behind a series of unexpected incidents and anchors the center of the film.

Ahn has built a wide range across comedy, drama, and thriller roles, and this marks his first step into a mystery project. He most recently made a special appearance in "The King's Warden" (Wanggwa Saneun Namja), the film that drew 16.9 million admissions. His turn in "A Day Without a Hand" is expected to show a different side of the actor.
